1x Bath Towel 70 x 142 cm (28“ x 56“)
Start your morning with a magical Kushel moment. On the way out of the shower, you are immediately dry and softly hugged by your Kushel towel.
The climate and resource-positive Kushel towel dries you faster and stays soft for a long time. Kushel is the world's first towel made from 30% TENCEL ™ Modal and 70% organic cotton. Thanks to the unique mixing ratio and the smart construction, the fibers can develop their full effect.
The solid construction with a breathable surface of eight loops can absorb moisture and dry again quickly. The Kushel towel is double-stitched with hangers on both sides and weighs a luxurious 600 grams per square meter.
It is possible to wash the towels up to 60 °. For the sake of the environment, we recommend washing your Kushel towel at 40 ° C with the same colors and a mild detergent. Your Kushel towel is suitable for the dryer. Please do not wash the towels together with coarse textiles such as jeans or wool products, as the tension between the products can lead to fringes. If a loop comes loose, simply cut it off with scissors.
By planting 2 trees for each product and compensating the carbon emissions and blue-water usage of the towel production, we are the first climate & resource positive textile brand.
Kushel is the first climate and resource positive textile brand in the world! How does it work? The energy and water consumption of the production is calculated and compensated. In addition, two trees are planted for each Kushel product. With your decision for Kushel you are making more resources available to the planet than taken for production. Together with you, we make an active contribution to stopping climate change.
For this concept, Kushel won the Green Product Award (2019) and is nominated for the German Sustainability Award (2021). Kushel makes it easy to do good - without sacrificing or compromising. We believe the perfect towel for the environment has to be perfect for you too.

Our goal is to inspire other companies to positively conceptualize their products' climate and resource-positive and join the B-Corp network.
You can be sure that your Kushel product is produced fairly and very environmentally friendly. By interviewing experts, we found out that TENCEL ™ Modal is the best material for creating the perfect home textile. The natural wood fibers are made incredibly evenly with LENZING's know-how and, combined with organic cotton, resulting in a fine, slightly shiny yarn. Thanks to the yarn, all Kushel products are much softer and flawless than conventional products made from linen, hemp, or 100% cotton.
The innovative fiber mix is also significantly more environmentally friendly than a conventional fiber mix. The advantages are apparent: the beech trees grow without fertilizers, pesticides, or artificial irrigation. All trees are certified or tested according to the standards of the FSC and / or the PEFC. LENZING guarantees that Every tree used for the Kushel Towel gets reforested.
Our partner Lenzing AG produces the TENCEL ™️ Modal fibers with Eco Soft technology in a local recreation area in Austria. The Eco Soft technology is an integrated process in which most of the chemicals are re-used or recycled.
The organic cotton for all Kushel products comes from the Singida region in Tanzania. Without additional irrigation, but solely through the two natural rainy seasons grows the cotton on a plateau. Organic cotton is free from genetically modified seeds, and no chemical fertilizers or pesticides are used in cultivation. The organic cotton is hand-picked without the use of a diesel harvester.
This mix of materials requires at least 90% less drinking water in the cultivation and emits at least 50% less CO2 into the atmosphere than 100% conventional cotton (Die Klimapatenschaft GmbH, MSI Higg Index).
We compensate for the shallow consumption of freshwater in production by financing a forest restructuring project in Germany. A monoculture forest becomes a mixed forest with additional native trees. Due to the changed tree canopy and root structure, more groundwater is generated from rain in the restructured mixed forest.
We compensate for the comparatively low emissions from production and logistics by financing a wind farm project (Gold Standard GS 854). The wind farm will replace a coal-fired power plant in Turkey.
Klimapatenschaft GmbH has certified all Kushel products to be climate and groundwater neutral. In addition, two trees are planted for each Kushel product. With your decision for Kushel you are making more resources available to the planet than taken for production. Together with you, we make an active contribution to stopping climate change.
